1- Iron Mike Goes the Distance But Jake Paul Wins
The fight has been termed a clash of generations with a victory for Jake Paul by unanimous decision over the erstwhile boxing giant Mike Tyson. At 58 years, Tyson was reportedly still seeking to regain his lost glory but he went down powerless as the youthful Paul took authority of the bout from the third round. The fans had expected some powerful reactions in the fight, but Paul outsmarted Tyson with his perfect strategy and swiftness.
Post the fight, the loser Paul acknowledged Tyson as the greatest of all time and accepted his toughness and rich heritage. Tyson himself gave a strong hint that this may not after all be the last time he goes to the ring, raising hopes in the minds of the fans for another return.
It was a thrilling show with some great undercard bouts. Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat had a one-way traffic affair as he outboxed his Brazilian opponent Whindersson Nunes to register a unanimous verdict. Other named highlights of the night were Katie Taylor’s brilliant light-welterweight title defense and Mario Barrios successfully retaining his WBC title through a thrilling draw.

Coldplay fans in India will get a third chance to see the British band live. The group announced a fourth show in Ahmedabad for January 25, 2025, at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

And so, fans are asked to act fast since demand is still sky-high. The concert marks the end of their Music of the Spheres World Tour in India, as well as three sold-out shows in Mumbai.
3- India Power-Hitting Seals Series in Centurion
Indian batting ended a truly spectacular show of power hitting in Centurion to seal the series against South Africa. For Tilak Varma, his two stars of the night were such jaw-dropping centuries.
This was an exciting match at the edge of the seats with Samson unbeaten on 109 and Varma remaining not out on 120 after some thrilling shots. The spectacular late-game heroics with 70 runs coming off his last 25 balls ensured that Varma emerged to be one of the most exciting prospects for India. Chances created by South African bowlers early on were well addressed by the India’s explosive show, and they set a target well beyond their capability to recover.
4- Neeraj Goyat Shines in Dominant Win Against Nunes
Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat started one of the year’s most discussedboxing events in brilliant form against Brazilian Whindersson Nunes. In the six-round non-title contest, Indian boxer Neeraj Goyat dominated and won with smooth unanimous 60-54 victory.
Goyat was spot-on with his sharp reflexes and perfect technique, dominating the play from start to finish, without much room for doubt about who is superior. This victory marks another milestone in the highly decorated career of Goyat, setting the tone for continued ascension on the international boxing scene.
5- Rohit Sharma Welcomes Baby Boy
Indian cricket team skipper Rohit Sharma and wife Ritika Sajdeh have had another child—a baby boy. The good news must be coming at an appropriate time as it has enhanced the possibilities of Rohit playing in the first Test against Australia scheduled to be played in Perth on November 22.
Rohit’s return will strengthen India’s top order, giving solidity and grit to the opening combination. The contenders fail to impress while playing for India A; fans and selectors alike look forward to the return of the skipper.
6- Salman Khan Confronts Ashneer Grover on Bigg Boss 18
Bigg Boss 18: Salman Khan didn’t hold back when he grilled former Shark Tank India judge Ashneer Grover over many controversial statements he made about Salman in the past.
Salman lampooned Grover’s “doglapan” (double standards), saying, “How can you have two statements?” He sought an explanation from Grover regarding the seeming inconsistency between the two statements. Grover explained that his words could have been taken out of context since they were delivered in the course of a podcast. The exchange was so on point that one would not want to miss it.
7- CLSA Increases India Allocation Amid Shifting Market Landscape
Global brokerage house CLSA has increased its India allocation to 20% from an overweight position citing strong potential for foreign fund inflows. This move has come in the wake of corrections brewing in Indian and Chinese markets a few days after the re-election of US President Donald Trump.
CLSA labeled India as a safer bet compared to China. It highlighted India’s resilience against Trump’s trade policies. Many global investors believe the current market correction affords an opportunity to address underexposure to Indian equities. Accordingly, India is fortified in its position as a better investment destination.
8- Cristiano Ronaldo Stuns with Spectacular Bicycle Kick
Cristiano Ronaldo proved once more, as in so many things, that he was ageless. Scoring twice against Poland for a five-one win, he helped to seal for the 39-year-old athlete a footballing legacy. For the UEFA Nations League, it was two goals from the football star, the last of which went into the record books as he scored a bicycle kick.
Ronaldo’s heroics ensured that Portugal qualified for the quarterfinals of the tournament. The overhead kick said it all as he entered the pantheon of great performers in football alongside peers like Baggio, Milla, and someone who allegedly tried to later – George Weah.
9- Ravi Shastri Suggests Shubman Gill as Stand-in for Rohit Sharma
Former India coach Ravi Shastri thinks Shubman Gill would be the ideal cover for Rohit Sharma, for whose opening Test against Australia availability still sits on a pedestal.
Shastri had reservations on Abhimanyu Easwaran’s recent displays and noted the need for form and application at nets. A man who has opened in Australia, Gill will bring ample experience and adaptability to the slot. The fact that Shastri also bats in that position adds an overriding sense to the challenges India face in solidifying their batting order ahead of this crucial series.

Really, Suryavanshi’s meteoric rise has established him as an emerging talent and one to watch in the coming season of IPL.
