He made an impassioned plea for directors to keep prioritizing the big screen, referring to cinema as a “communal experience that we cannot afford to lose.”

These successors of the Xiaomi 14 series pride themselves on top-notch upgrades that include Leica-driven optics, enhanced telephoto lenses, and robust internal hardware. The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has a 6.73-inch QHD+ AMOLED display of 120Hz refresh rate capacity and 3,200 nits peak output, while the regular Xiaomi 15 has an even smaller 6.36-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen that shares the refresh rate capacity.

Both phones are driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, with the Ultra model set to provide up to 16GB of RAM. The camera system is still a highlight, with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra sporting a 200MP Leica telephoto lens, a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32MP front-facing selfie shooter. The Xiaomi 15 has a 50MP triple-camera system.

The devices will be available in multiple colors, with the Ultra version launching in a sleek silver chrome finish. Customers will be able to purchase them via Amazon India, Xiaomi’s official website, and retail stores.
