Shankar’s much-awaited political thriller Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, and Anjali, opened to an impressive ₹47.13 crore net in India on its first day. The film explores corruption in electoral politics, resonating strongly with audiences.
As reported, the Telugu version accounted for the lion’s share with a gross of ₹38 crore while the Tamil and Hindi versions earned ₹2 crore and ₹7 crore, respectively. Contributions in Kannada and Malayalam regions were much lesser.
Game Changer has crossed the opening day collections of Ram Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama (₹34 crore) and Acharya (₹37.10 crore), but nowhere near the incredible ₹133 crore debut of RRR. The film has 55.82% occupancy during morning shows and an impressive 82% for Hindi 4DX afternoons.
The Press Information Bureau has issued a warning about a phishing scam targeting India Post Payments Bank customers. It is sending messages to users with fake requests to update their PAN details to avoid account deactivation, with suspicious links that redirect the user to malicious websites.
India Post clarified it does not issue such alerts and urged users to avoid clicking on dubious links or sharing sensitive information. A statement on X confirmed, “The claim that IPPB accounts will be blocked within 24 hours if PAN details are not updated is false.”
To avoid falling prey, customers should check such messages, not share any personal details on unsecured platforms, and seek immediate help from the bank in case of any suspicious activity.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2025 Session 1 City Allotment Slip on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in, and candidates may now check city allotment in their respective test cities.
