These extensions are as follows: The Ahmedabad-Jamnagar service now stretches to Dwarka; the Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla route is extended to Chandigarh; the Gorakhpur-Lucknow train now reaches Pryagraj; and the Thiruvananthapuram-Kasargod train extends to Mangaluru.
During the ceremony, the Prime Minister also inaugurated two new passenger trains connecting Asansol to Hatia and Tirupati to Kollam.
